Marilyn thrives when she carries out needs assessments, develops tailored educational products, assembles experts to upskill and reskill human capital. Three (3) seminal courses Marilyn designed, influenced the regulatory landscape of the Nigerian electricity industry: how electricity markets work (2006), cost of service based incentive regulation (2012), and the Federal High Court’s evidentiary procedure of the decisions the Nigeria Electricity Regulatory Commission (NERC) makes (2012). She was the lead Business Analyst and Advisor (August 2011) to the National Power Training Institute of Nigeria (NAPTIN) for its first five (5) year business plan; and its signature graduate engineer program. Marilyn designed and introduced a Corporate Academy, used to reskill and upskill NBETs work force. The Academy gained national and international recognition, by the Defence Intelligence College Nigeria, World Bank, the Department for International Development (DFID) UK, the Department of Management at the University of Aarhus Denmark, and the Gulf One Lab for Computational and Economics Research (GLOCER), School of Management at the University of Lancaster, UK.
